Fostering is an incredibly rewarding experience.

Pitter Patter Puppy House could not survive without the support of loving foster parents.  Our generous foster volunteers are ready and willing to provide temporary housing and lots of love so we are able to rescue dogs and have secure temporary homes for them to be placed.  Some fosters only have their Dogs long enough for a bath, a good meal, and a safe night’s sleep.

Others have their Dogs long enough to work on training, to develop trust, and to recover from injuries or ailments – all to help them transition smoothly into their forever homes.  When you foster a Puppy or Dog  you agree to take a disadvantaged dog into your home and give them love, care and attention, either for a predetermined period of time or until the dog is fully adopted.

There is nothing like comparing the “before” pictures of your foster dog in the shelter with the “after” pictures in his or her new adoptive home!  Of course, there are times when fostering is not without challenges, but Pitter Patter Puppy House will be there to help you through any bumps in the road you may encounter.  We are available to our fosters 24 hours a day!
